We are running the internationally renown Alpha course this autumn as seen on Channel 4’s ‘Revelations’ programme this summer.

Alpha addresses life's major questions. What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? Who is Jesus? Is there life after death? What about suffering? Do all religions lead to God?  Who is God? Does God even exist? These questions and many more, including your own can be looked at.

Why not come along to find out more on Tuesday 29th September? Alpha is a ten-week course. We meet one evening per week and begin each session with a light meal together*. Alpha is an opportunity to ask questions and listen to others. Each  session  includes  a  talk  about some
aspect of the Christian faith. We will finish by about 9pm (or before) each evening.

The course starts on Tuesday 6th October and will run for 10 Tuesdays at the Low Grange Social Club commencing at 7pm.

Over tea or coffee you have the chance to discuss what you’ve heard. No questions are regarded as too simple or to hostile. There is no pressure, and if you decide not to continue with the course no one will hound you to come back. Alpha is free, but you may contribute to the cost of the meals if you wish.

After week 6 we have a Saturday away together when we have the opportunity to consider the person and work of the Holy Spirit - seeking to answer such questions as:

     Who is the Holy Spirit?
     What does the Holy Spirit do?
     How can I be Filled with the Holy Spirit?
     How can I Make the Most of the Rest of my Life?
